If you want to experience Linz in a relaxed way in summer, start in Urfahr with a detour to Lake Plesching. The swimming lake is quietly located on the outskirts of the city and can be reached on foot from harry’s home Linz in around 20 minutes – or conveniently with one of the hotel’s own e-bikes. Alternatively, bus line 33 takes guests directly to the “Pleschinger See” stop.
Around the lake, there are extensive sunbathing lawns, several bathing areas, and a well-maintained circular path for a leisurely stroll or an evening run. Under shady trees, you will find perfect picnic spots, as well as beach volleyball courts, play areas for children, showers, and restaurants. In the high season, SUP rentals provide a quiet gliding experience on the water.
